Сегодня мы выпускаем в публичный бета-тест наш новый проект – ShowMe!
Этот сервис позволяет вам смотреть на устройствах Apple (iPad, iPhone и Mac) лицензионный видео-контент. Уникальность нашего сервиса состоит в том, что он заточен конкретно под устройства компании Apple (iPhone, iPad и Mac). ShowMe не требует загрузки и установки какого-либо программного обеспечения – он работает прямо из вашего браузера. В зависимости от того, на каком устройстве запущен фильм и от скорости вашего соединения, сервер автоматически будет выдавать видеоряд именно в таком качестве, которое предотвратит дерганье и задержки картинки при просмотре, но при этом сохранит высокое качество изображения. Важное отличие от других подобных проектов заключается в том, что весь предлагаемый контент лицензионный, с качественной профессиональной озвучкой. Все фильмы предоставлены компанией “Контент-Хаус”.

На днях мы наконец-то смогли выпустить апдейт нашей программы NewsBox. 2 месяца, 4 реджекта, 12 email’ов и 1 телефонный звокон. Особенность в том, что на 5-ой заявке была та же версия, что и на 1-ой. Вот так прекрасно работает служба ревьюеверов.
Изменения в основном коснулись UI, но не сильно. Также добавили новые каналы:
1) Канобувости с портала kanobu.ru – еженедельные выпуски новостей на игровую тематику
2) Ролики с amvnews.ru – различные аниме-ролики
3) Кино – трейлеры новых фильмов
4) Игры – 6 новых лент с трейлерами новых игр под различные платформы
Теперь NewsBox загружает ролики только через WiFi. Это новые правила SDK, которые недавно вступили в силу. Но на это у нас есть свой ответ. Мы разработали специальную веб-версию NewsBox, которая работает через Safari. Это значит, что ролики можно будет смотреть и через EDGE/3G. Очевидно, что для более быстрой загрузки рекомендуется все-таки использовать соединение 3G. Подробности по установке веб-версии NewsBox вы можете найти на нашем сайте.
Мы продолжаем работу над нашим новейшим проектом, связанным с медиа-контентом. Подробности будут позднее. А также адаптируем SmartScreen под iPad, уже есть скриншоты, адаптация не сложна, ждите нового и вкусненького.
On April 20 we presented a site with a new updated design. We hope you like it.
There have been some changes and we decided to implement a blog directly on the site.
It is now available on the link – blog.media-phone.ch, and in section Company you can see our team now.
In parallel, we have released 2 new video about SmartScreen (available on YouTube), which demonstrated the work of most of our widgets.
Third video on the approach. We tried to make the videos similar in style to Apple Ads, but with our brand elements. Yes, your favorite nails back.
We continue to work and over SmartScreen, an updated version will soon be available with the new module, but will also have some of your wishes regarding the work of the widgets on LockScreen.
The basis of the energy spent on our new project, which will affect directly iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It’s in secret while, but soon we provide you additional information.

We congratulate you with passed holidays! Hope you spent it very well. At the end of December we have finished our SmartScreen Widget Contest. We can say that not so many participants took part in our contest, but we have made our choice.
Winner of our contest is Iam Squpix, author of Yet Another Clock (FlipClock) Widget. We reward him with promised prize – iPod Touch (3gen) and 5 licenses for SmartScreen.

Yesterday we have released updated version of SmartScreen – 1.20.
Main change is new arrangement system of widgets.
But many users encountered the following problem: on LockScreen began to appear blank pages, widgets are superimposed on each other and randomly placed on the pages.
This problem has caused the discrepancy size of some third-party widgets (because they don’t follow the rule of widget height to be multiple of 70 pixels). Following the discovery of the bug we have notified all developers to ensure that they have updated their widgets in nearest time.
We apologize and offer a temporary solution:
1. Disable the following widgets – TwitFeed, WeatherFeed, LockVox and Yahoo Weather
2. Rearrange the remaining working widgets

A new version of SmartScreen has been released today.
The SmartScreen includes these features and updates:
● Auto-Hide LockBar
● Supports Text Input in the widgets, such as Search Bar and TwitFeed
● Improved Performance
Some bugs were fixed and, overall, the application is more stable than ever.
Hop over to SmartScreen’s product page to learn more about it, or download the app through Cydia. Once you get used to it, you won’t be able to live without it!
Also, SmartScreen SDK 1.1 has been released today. Now it’s support Notifications feature, such as OpenURLNotification, ShowAlertNotification and LaunchApplicationNotification.

And one last thing today: New widget by MediaPhone – Search Bar. It will let you perform searches on the web, with a search engine of choice, directly from your lock screen. Supports Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Baidu, Wikipedia, Twitter, MySpace, Yandex. Already in our repository!

The closing date for the best SmartScreen widget contest, with a prize of a one iPod Touch 3g and 5 licenses for SmartScreen, has been extended to December 24th (12.00 PM CET). The contest was previously scheduled to close on November 20th.

Today MediaPhone SA are releasing a new application for the iPhone and iPod Touch – SmartScreen. In late September we announced the SmartScreen application and released a demo onto YouTube.
SmartScreen is an application for the iPhone and iPod touch that will allow informational widgets to be placed and used on the lock screen. Widgets are similar to those offered by Apple’s “Dashboard” and they follow this familiar look and feel.
SmartScreen Features:
● View a various widgets on your iPhone “Lock” screen (Weather, Calendar, Twitter, Notes, and more)
● Rearrange your “Lock” screen
● Multiple screens
● Controls Screen (iPod control, toggles for Wireless interfaces and Services) by double tapping Home button
● Enable “iPod Shake to Shuffle” on “Lock” screen
● Simple organizing widgets in the SmartScreen.app. You can rearrange, hide or show and preview widgets
We are releasing two versions of the SmartScreen: “Lite” and “Full”. The following features are NOT AVAILABLE in the “Lite” version:
● Controls Screen
● “iPod Shake to Shuffle” on “Lock” screen
● Show/hide and preview the widget
● Updates with new features
Also “Lite” version has a limit of 3 widgets.
For 3rd party developers we have made available the SmartScreen SDK. Any developer can create their own unique widget.
“Lite” version is Free, and “Full” version costs $5.00.
Both versions are available in our Cydia repository: apt.media-phone.ch
SmartScreen requires a Jailbroken iPhone OS device and 3.0 software update or later.
